How to keep my child focused when studying in 2024
1. Set a specific time for studying:
Have your child set a specific time for studying, and make sure it is free from distractions. Allocating a set time helps delineate study time from recreational time. So, have a chat with your child and suggest a routine that works around their school timetable.
2. Find a quiet place:
Find a quiet place for your child to study, away from distractions such as the television, music, and other people. With modern technology, it’s hard to find an escape from screens and noise so find peaceful study environments for your child, whether it’s a spare room in the house or in the garden!
3. Take regular breaks:
Allow your child to take regular breaks throughout their study session to help them stay focused in 2024. The pomodoro method incorporates short and long breaks into a study routine in a seamless manner.
4. Eliminate distractions:
Help your child eliminate any potential distractions, such as their phone, computer, or other electronic devices. Also, ensure any other siblings that may distract them are preferably in a different room; especially little ones!

Talk to your child about the material they are studying to help keep them engaged and focused in 2024.
