About Rosie Parkes
I'm currently reading English Literature at the University of York, and hope to continue with a Masters focusing on Victorian Literature.
I achieved an A* in both A-Level English Literature & A-Level History, with 100% in both pieces of English Lit. coursework & Paper 2.
I aim to read diversely both inside and outside of my course, although I indulge in my love of fantasy novels during the holidays.

My Teaching Approach
I would describe my tutoring approach as focused, collaborative & relaxed. I believe that students learn best when they're in a calm & comfortable environment, particularly for those in their exam years. Flexibility is also extremely important, I aim to adapt my tutoring around whatever revision/learning techniques the student knows works for them.
I also have experience teaching those with various neurodivergencies (ADHD, dyslexia, etc), having not only tutored several neurodivergent students in the past, but also being diagnosed ADHD myself.
